Columbus Metropolitan Library offers FREE business research classes for Summer 2014
The Columbus Metropolitan Library offers FREE two-hour business research classes in the computer training Loft on the 3rd floor of Main Library, 96 S Grant Ave, Columbus, Oh 43215.
You do not need to register for these FREE classes. The classes are led by a librarian from the Science, Business & News division. Classes are offered twice a month on a Thursday morning, and once a month on a Wednesday or Tuesday evening. Please see the class schedule flyers below.
If you attend Business Information Class 1 for Startup Entrepreneurs you will learn:
- How to research your competition and find B2B contacts with Reference USA
- How to find sample business plans with the Small Business Resource Center
- How to find free legal and business forms with Legal Forms
If you attend Business Information Class 2 Research Strategies for Business Growth you will learn:
- How to use library resources to Target Your Market and Research an Industry
- How to use the Business Decision research tool to find demographic and consumer expenditure information
