Attain Success at the Ohio Growth Summit

It’s time to inspire your passion…The Ohio Growth Summit is coming May 24.

I’m all about small business. I’ve been the Director of the Ohio Small Business Development Center in central Ohio for 10 years and it was always my dream to launch a business conference that would really make a difference for those that are working everyday to make things happen in their business. A conference that would combine national speakers with local speakers to help create a new perspective on doing business. In 2005 I founded that conference and on May 24, right in the middle of National Small Business Week, the eighth annual Ohio Growth Summit will provide you with newest and most exciting ways to start and grow businesses. Since the first Summit hundreds of small business owners and others have used this event as the launching pad for their business. Whether you are looking to make your idea a reality or take your business to a new level of success the Ohio Growth Summit is “your” event. It is a celebration of your entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to making your dream a reality.

OK I know what you are thinking, “I’ve attended the Summit in the past and it was the greatest experience of my life. What incredible things do you have planned this year?”. Well as in the past you can expect the highest quality speakers and content that you will find anywhere. No need to travel to New York or Los Angeles to hear cutting edge speakers and content because we have it all right here in Columbus.

I have traveled the country to audition potential keynote speakers (actually I watched their YouTube videos). Given that I am excited to announce that the 2012 Keynotes will be Paul Evans and Gini Dietrich.

Paul Evans: Do you know Paul Evans? If not you should. I met Paul last fall at Carrie Wilkerson’s B.O.S.S 2012 event in Dallas. Carrie had told me he was a great speaker but honestly that doesn’t do him justice. He is a very knowledgeable business coach, an “incredible” speaker/presenter, a man of great faith, he has a child attending the University of Alabama (that right there is good enough for me) plus he is a runner. I got to know Paul not only at the event but on an early morning run. (you really get to know someone between mile four and five.) Paul will share his business experiences and help you understand what it takes to reach the level of success you want for your business and yourself. To get a sense for Paul check out his YouTube channel, Paul Evans Live (if you need someone to translate southern for you let me know, I can help).

Gini Dietrich: Gini is the founder and chief executive officer of Arment Dietrich, Inc. and a driving force behind what may be the greatest blog in existence, Spin Sucks. Gini is not only an expert on building business activity through the use of social media and marketing and a sought after speaker, she is also a battle tested entrepreneur. Her experiences in starting Arment Dietrich, Inc. and what she deals with as a CEO is what separates her from the pack of experts into the realm of total awesomeness. She brings really good stuff that will help entrepreneurs grow business and run the day to day of business.

As incredible as the keynote presenters are there is much more for you. The Ohio Growth Summit will be presenting four concurrent, themed workshops to allow you to focus in on what will make you the most successful. Each of these workshops will focus on specific outcomes for your business. They will feature top speakers, presenters and practitioners in the field to help you succeed.

Social Media Strategy and Placement: Lead by the founder of 30 LinesMike Whaling, this session will allow you to discover when, where and how to best position your message on the web to achieve maximum results and success.

The session will also allow you to sit down with people who are writing checks and really understand what they are looking for that will make them have to give you money.
