What do you currently do, what are your business aspirations and what do you hope to benefit from by joining this community?: Hoping to start a small business operating out of my home. Shortly after being layed off from CHASE in 2009, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Although fully capable of doing computer work - 20+ years in marketing communications positions, I've found that prospective employers are uncomfortable with my "in person" symptoms. I need to work. I'm hoping that a DBE certification might open some doors for me. Thank you.
