A Little About Me and our Program

I've spent two decades working in and around technology transfer and technology-based economic development programs at colleges & universities, as well as federal laboratories in Ohio and across the country. Creativity and innovation are essential foundation stones for a healthy economy; and in my experience people, businesses and communities that embrace and engae newer ideas thrive.

Feel free to engage with me here or by email to see if our program can support your development.

The Central Ohio Manufacturing & Technology Small Business Development Center is located at Columbus State Community College. The center can assist existing companies and individuals access a wide array resources, and provide some direct support for business and product development.

Three initiatives of the center and some project examples are:
Continuous Improvement and Modernization - Floor layout, process improvements, work force assessments and training, business operations assessments, Lean, etc.

Inventions and Prototyping - Product design, modeling, prototyping, markets assessments, patents, copyrights, trade & service marks and trade secrets, government R&D Grants.

Partnering and Commercialization - Licensing technologies in or out, capital access, manufacturing partners, market channels, fullfilment strategies.
