What do you currently do, what are your business aspirations and what do you hope to benefit from by joining this community?
I am a business idea generator. I have created several business plans, pitched ideas, participated in start-up weekend in Columbus, consulted with Fortune 500 businesses and worked for small business owners developing marketing plans and marketing tactics. I currently have several ideas percolating and I am in search of front end and back end web developers to help me in exchange for equity. It is only a matter of time before an idea takes hold. I'll continue to perk until I find one that werks! ;-)

Become A STAR In Social Networking

A Network Can Make A Huge Difference.

I've talked with a number of small business owners and marketing professionals in large corporations and they concur, a network is a powerful tool and can make a huge difference for your business.

In today's highly networked world it really doesn't matter if you have the network yourself, or if you're connected to a network in some way. The important thing you need to know is how to engage the people, resources and expertise… Continue

How Do You Socialize Your Business Ideas

I Have An Idea - Now What?

I'm full of business ideas, some make it to the napkin, others are worthy of PowerPoint, and others get the full business plan treatment. This post is just my process for working through, and documenting the ideas before I socializing them with peers, partners, and influencers.

I am an idea guy through and through. I 've had a diverse career in management. I've held leadership positions in the military, restaurants, fabrication and manufacturing, retail, financial services, my own consulting firm, taught as an adjunct at CSCC, contributed my talents to several start-ups in high tech and now work in a publically traded telecommunications and IP service provider. I guess you could say I've been around the block. I have and I've learned a great deal about business, marketing, business development, sales and I can hold my own in a conversation around most technology.

I graduated from Franklin University with a degree in Marketing, I have two beautiful daughters and a loving and supporting wife, live in Powell, Ohio and I have become a social network fanatic. I enjoy everything about it, and love to help others love it as much as I do. So let's engage, converse and help each other out. Let's make Columbus "The" place to live, work and play.
