The Ohio SBDC and Columbus 20/20 are pleased to bring this export compliance event series to the central Ohio region. Vicki Lanich with Export Compliance Connections, LLC, will be presenting. Vicki is a seasoned consultant with a career spanning across a variety of regulatory compliance laws, policy development and process improvement initiatives.  Vicki possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in US and foreign export regulations, import documentation, global outsourcing, defense contracts and more.

Why Should You Attend?: Businesses, organizations and educational institutions are obliged to understand the enforcement actions being taken by regulatory agencies—and those actions are on the rise. This series is designed to assist attendees in navigating the U.S. export laws and create awareness. Lack of knowledge of existing laws is not defense for violations. The stakes are high; but the risks can be mitigated with an awareness and compliance to the U.S. export laws and regulations.

Who Should Attend?: All companies; small or large, domestic or global, manufacturer or service provider; military or commercial, organizations and universities. The audience will gain an understanding of EAR, ITAR, FTR, and OFACR from introductory, roles and responsibilities, licensing, and procedural approaches. These topics will be delivered via multiple seminars so as not to overwhelm.
